This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to Comments Studio ("we", "us", "our"), operated from India and available at commentsstudio.com. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this policy.
1. Free plan
Comments Studio offers a Free plan (1,500 comment moderations per month) at no cost. No payment, and therefore no refund, applies to the Free plan. You can use the Free plan for as long as you like to evaluate the service before upgrading.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans (Pro and Pro+) are billed as recurring subscriptions, either monthly or annually, in Indian Rupees (₹) through our payment partner, Razorpay. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, netbanking, and wallets.
- Monthly plans renew every month on your billing date.
- Annual plans renew every 12 months on your billing date.
- Your subscription continues until you cancel it.
3. Free trial
Where a free trial is offered (for example, a 7-day Pro trial), you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged for the first billing period. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard, under Billing, with no cancellation fee.
- When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current paid billing period. You keep access to paid features until that date.
- After the period ends, your account automatically moves to the Free plan. We do not delete your account or data when you downgrade.
- We do not provide automatic prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except as described in Section 5.
5. Refunds
We want you to be satisfied with Comments Studio. Our refund terms are as follows:
7-day refund window (new subscriptions). If you are a first-time subscriber to a paid plan and you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment, provided the request is made in good faith. This applies to your first paid billing period only.
Renewals. Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) are generally non-refundable once charged. To avoid being charged for a renewal, please cancel before your renewal date. If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend (for example, you forgot to cancel and did not use the service in the new period), contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will review your request fairly.
Service issues. If the service is materially unavailable or not functioning as described due to a fault on our side, and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable time, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund for the affected period. Contact us with details.
Not eligible for refund. Refunds are not provided for: dissatisfaction reported after the 7-day window for a given billing period; account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service; or charges older than 7 days where the service was used normally.
6. How to request a refund
Email us at support@commentsstudio.com from the email address associated with your account, with:
- your account email,
- the approximate date and amount of the charge,
- the reason for your refund request.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method through Razorpay. Depending on your bank or UPI provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first — we will work to resolve it quickly. Raising a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of a paid plan after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
